3 Way to use Heat

Heat can help to sooth sore muscles, many people use heat for back and neck pain (I myself have been known to use it for back pain). It works best with injuries that have lasted a few days.


There are many ways to use heat, not just the one!


1) Hot water bottle - Fill your hot water bottle, wrap it in a towel and place it on the area for 10-minutes. Please remove the bottle if it is too hot and causing you pain - you aren't being brave!


2) Deep Heat - Most people have used deep heat at some point. I love the roll-on, but am not a fan of the cream (nothing wrong with it, just personal preference). They also have sprays and patches - So much choice.


3) Hot Stones Massage - This is especially effective when used with other types of massage and is a great way to receive a deep tissue massage with the added benefit of heat.
